Lombard Trophy regional final 2 at Blairgowrie

Elderslie pro and amateur partner win

trip to Algarve

Elderslie professional Scott McGrenaghan and his amateur partner Douglas McGregor won a trip to the Algarve today by heading a big field with a 10-under-par better-ball 62 in the Lombard Trophy Second Scottish Regional eliminator over the Blairgowrie Rosemount course.
They won by two strokes from Fraser Rummins (Canmore) and amateur Ross Steele.
Gordon Law (Uphall) and amateur Derek Reid finished third with a 65.
The Grand Final will be held over the Pestana Vila Sol course, Vilamoura on September 20-21.
