Aboyne's 14-year-old junior member Carmen Griffiths has followed up her gaining of the top match-play seed berth by reaching Sunday morning's semi-finals in the Aberdeenshire women's county golf championship at Banchory.

The other tie will be contested by four times championship winner Sammy Leslie (Murcar Links) and Julie Lees (Westhill), the No 2 seed.
The handicap championship final will be between Vicki Neish (Murcar Links), who plays off 16, and Michelle Finnie, an 11-handicapper at Aberdeen Ladies.
