Monifieth win Angus boys' team championship

Monifieth Golf Club won the Angus boys' team championship over the very tricky Ashludie course on Sunday.

Scores: Philip Brown 71, Jamie Miller 73, Glen Maxwell 77, and Graeme Macdonald 77 for a total of 298 to win by three strokes from Royal Montrose.

The handicap prize was won by Ballumbie Castle with a nett total of 253.
