Scottish Boys' Open second round hit by frost, will not be completed until Friday morning

The loss of 2hr 30min of play at the start of the second day of the Scottish Boys Open Championship at Montrose Links due to frost meant that it was impossible get the big field round in daylight.
The second round will be completed on Friday morning at the end of which a cut will be made to the leading 40 and ties for the final 36 holes.
Germany's Patrick Schmuecking maintained the lead with a 72 for one-over par 143.
Not counting those potential rivals who still have to finish 36 holes, Patrick has a two-stroke lead over B Haq (Royal Wimbledon) 72-68 for 145 and the German is three shots ahead of third placed C Tibbs (Chart Hills) 75-71.
Best places Scots in joint fourth place on 147 include Sean Logue (Royal Montrose) (78-69), Liam Waldron (Royal Aberdeen), also 78-69, and Aidan O'Hagan (Old Ranfurly) (77-70) and Aaron Hall (Kilspindie) (74-73)
