Olivia Mehaffey finishes in top 10 at Tempe, Arizona

Northern Ireland's Olivia Mehaffey - like Alice Hewson, a certainty for a place in the GB and I team of eight to defend the Curtis Cup against the United States at Quaker Ridge, New York State from June 8 to 10 - finished T9 in a field of 81 in the weekend Ping/ASU Invitational over the Karsten course at Tempe, Arizona.
Olivia, pictured, finished one-under-par with a total of 215 (73-71-71), eight shots behind the winner by three, Jillian Hollis (Georgia University) (71-71-65).
Scot Lauren Whyte (Denver University) finished T33 with scores of 75, 74 and 74 for seven-over 223.
England's Lizzie Prior (Nevada-Las Vegas University) finished with the same total after scores of 75, 71 and 77.
Arizona (852) won the team title ahead of Washington (856), Oklahoma State (861), Georgia (862) and Arizona State (866).
