Alice Hewson finishes T13 in SunTrust Gator Invite

England's Alice Hewson (Clemson University) and Hollie Muse (Daytona State College) finished T13 and T24 respectively in a field of 75 competitors at the SunTrust Gator Women's Invite 54-hole college tournament at Gainesville, Florida today.
Hewson, pictured, chasing a place in the GB and I team to defend the Curtis Cup in America in June, had rounds of 72, 72 and 70 for a four-over par total of 214 over a par-70 course of 6,002yd in length.
Freshman Muse had rounds of 71, 73 and 73 for a total of 217.
One of Hollie's Daytona State College team-mates, Jiwon Jeon won the individual title with three very good scores - 68, 66 and 69, for a seven-under aggregate of 203 and a five-stroke victory.
Florida University studends Sierra Brooks (208) and Elin Esborn (209) filled second and third places and help their university to win the team title with a total of 840, 12 ahead of runners-up Furman and Campbell.
Clemson (868) finished sixth and Daytona State College (875) eighth in a field of 13 teams.
