Ross Munro wins Craigielaw E and E Alliance with a six-under-par 65

It was a welcome calm sunny day at Craigielaw as  84 members of the Edinburgh and East of Scotland Golfers Alliance tried to get their names on The Alliance Trophy at the par 71 (35-36) East Lothians links.

Runaway winner, securing his second trophy of season with a six under par 65 (30-35) including six birdies on an outward half of 30 was Duddingston's Ross Munro 

Second scratch prize went to Neil Henderson (Renaissance Club) on 69 with Simon Lockhart (Bathgate) claiming third with a 70.

The leading handicap prizes were shared on net 70 by Donny Munro (Kingsknowe) (72 less 2) and Jordan Whyte (Royal Burgess) (78 less 8). Third prize was also shared on net 71 by Scott Girvan (Baberton) (78 less 7) and David Rudd (Longniddry) (71 less 0).

Top Trainee was Danny Gilbert (Bathgate) on 71

Top Senior prize was shared on net 72 by Mike Louden (Glencorse) (76 less 4) and Brian Thomson (Broomieknowe) (77 less 5).

In the Orders of Merit Ross Munro climbs into the Scratch Top Three but there is no change at the top of the Handicap category
