Craig Armstrong wins Midland Alliance at Scotscraig with a 66
Burntisland assistant pro Craig Armstrong had the best individual score - a three-under-par 66 - to win the scratch section by three strokes in this week's Midland Golfers' Alliance fixture the Dunmar House Hotel, Alloa pro-am over a winter course at Scotscraig Golf Club, Tayport, Fife.
Runners-up were Glenrothes pro Craig Knowles and Dunfermline scratch amateur Alister Ferguson with 69s.
In the team event, 14-handicapper Andy Black (Tulliallan), Bennett Black, who plays off 10 at Dunfermline), clubmate Bryan Paterson, who has a handicap of 10, and Douglas Ferguson (Dunfermline) (handicap 14) won by two shots with a team score of 117.
