Wind-tamer Ross Kellett wins BJT event

 with 70 at Scotscraig

Ross Kellett (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) mastered the very blustery conditions at Scotscraig Golf Club,  Fife on Wednesday to win this week's Big Johnson's Tour 18-hole competition with an excellent score of one-under-par 70.

With 30mph winds prevailing, Scotscraig was a difficult test off the blue tees, a course measuring 6,703yd.
Kellett, pictured by Cal Carson Golf Agency, a Challenge Tour Player, had a grandstand finish of three birdies in a row wo win by two strokes from Ronan Rafferty, the 1989 European Tour No. 1.
The competition was sponsored by Ian Henderson of Golf Finance.
The next BJT event will be held on Wednesday, December 3 over the Troon Darley course in Ayrshire. There are a few spaces left for late entries which should be sent to johnhenry92@hotmail.com as soon as possible to be included in the draw.
