Lutton joint fourth with round to go at Alps Tour Q School Final Stage

Aberdeen's Clarke Lutton remains on course to gain pass marks at the Alps Tour Qualifying School Final Stage at La Cala Resort, Malaga on the Costa del Sol.
Clarke easily survived the first hurdle by being one of the leading 65 players and ties to qualify for the third and final round.
Lutton has had scores of 69 and 70 for 139 and is sharing fourth place, four behind the leader, South African Albert Ventner (65-70).
Other Scots to progress were Ewen Ferguson (70-75 for 145 and a T31 placing) and Craig Ross (70-76 for 146 and a T39 standing).
The only Scot to miss the cut at 148 was Bathgate's Louis Gaughan with rounds of 83 and 73 for 156. Bathgate won the inaugural Scottish par-3 professional championship at the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre earlier in the year.
