Toledo Scots both finish on a high note 

in California

Toledo University Scots Duncan McNeill from Annan and Joseph Bryce from Bathgate both shot two-under-par 69s in the final round of the Saint Mary's Invitational college tournament at Poppy Hills Golf Club, Pebble Beach in sunny California.

McNeill, pictured right, had eight birdies - four of them in the final round - over the last 26 holes of the competition.
With earlier rounds of 76 and 68, Duncan finished T26 in a field of 100.
Bryce finished T31 on 214 with rounds of 73, 72 and 69. He had five birdies and three bogeys on the final day.
Justin Suh (Southern California) was the individual winner and his university also won the team title.
Suh had rounds of 67, 66 and 67 for 13 under par 200. He won by five from three players on 200: Patrick Fishburn (Brigham Young(, Hayden Singh (Santa Clara) and Kaito Shieh (Southern California).
Southern California (824) won the team title by six strokes from Stanford (830) with Colorado State (840) in third place.

Toledo (860) finishd in 10th place - above several teams who are higher than them in the national rankings.
