Daniel Kay in top 10 after first round of
MENA Tour Championship
Dunbar's Daniel Kay was in joint ninth place with a two-under-par round of 70 after the first round of the MENA Tour Championship over 72 holes at Al Zorah Golf Club, Ajman in the United Arab Emirates.
Kay birdied the long sixth, eighth, long 11th and short 15th in halves of 35. He bogeyed two par-3 holes, the fifth and 17th.
Englishman Jamie Elson leads the restricted field of 53 players with a six-under 66, one ahead of South African Tyler Hogarty.
