McDonald loses Alps Tour lead, now sharing 2nd place, Young still in top 10

Jack McDonald slipped out of the lead into a three-way tie for second place after rounds of 65 and 69 for eight-under-par 134 in the Alps Tour Grand Final at Golf Club des Iles Borromees, Italy today.
The Ayrshire man trails the new leader, Frenchman Maxime Radurea, by three shots after the Frenchman followed up a 68 with an eight-under-par 63 in the second round for an 11-under tally of 131.
McDonald had a bag of seven birdies but he also had a double bogey 6 at the 15th and bogeys at the second, 10th and 16thy in halves of 33 and 36.
Perth's Daniel Young has dropped to eighth place with scores of 67 and 70 for 137. Like McDonald, Young had a double bogey 6, at the second, and he dropped other shots at the 10th and 11th. On the credit side he had birdies at the short eighth, 12th, 13th and 14th in halves of 36 and 34.
