Martin Laird's top 20 finish in California
Tyler Duncan failed to last out to the winning line in the US PGA Tour's Safeway Open at Napa, California.
After making most of the running, Duncan slumped to a final round of 75 for a total of 277 and joint fifth place behind the defending champion, Brendan Steele, who won by two strokes with a 15-under par total of 273.
Martin Laird from Scotland made the top 20 with a total of 281 for a T17 finish
But 43 year old Londoner Brian Davis finished T43 on 285. His last two rounds were 73 and 76.
