Lockhart and Taggart head Junior Golf Tour returns at Monifieth Ashludie
Jack Lockhart (Pitreavie) and Ian Taggart (Lenzie) had the best scores at the Scottish Junior Golf Tour competition at Monifieth's Ashludie course yesterday. They both shot one-under-par 67s on a very pleasant, warm day, apart from a little squall in the afternoon.
Scott Newman (Kilmacolm) won the U13s' event with an excellent 71. Local boy Philip Brown won the U14s with a 70.
The parents had their own event which was jointly won by John Jack senior and Jason Conway with three-under 65s.

The handicap event was won by Jonny Robertson with nett 64. John Forrest won the Dads event also with nett 64.
The putting competition was won by Ian Taggart and Stuart Jackman (Balfron) won the Dads putting competition.
