Kay stays inside top 10 in MENA Tour Championship

Dunbar's Daniel Kay repeated his opening 70 to be joint eighth on four-under-par 140 at the halfway stage of the MENA Tour Championship at Al Zorah Golf Club, Ajman in the United Arab Emirates.
Kay is nine strokes behind the new leader, Sweden's Henric Sturehed who jumped five strokes ahead of the field with a second-round, nine-under-par 63 for a 13-under tally of 131.
Kay birdied ther third fourth and sixth and moved to four under on the day when he birdied the par-5 11th. The Scot undid a lot of his good work with a double bogey 6 at the 16th for 37 home and a two-under 70.
