Johnston, Howie and Maclean gain pass marks at Pro Golf Tour Q School

Liam Johnston from Dumfries finished first at the Pro Golf Tour Qualifying School over two rounds at Paderborn Golf Club, Germany.
Johnston, a former Scottish amateur stroke-play champion, had 12 birdies over rounds of 69 and 67 for eight-under 136, winning the event by a single shot from Dutchman Max Albertus (67-70).
Other Scots in the field of 96 players, Craig Howie and Christopher Maclean, both amateurs, gained pass marks by sharing 13th place on 141. Howie had a pair of 71s, Maclean 72 and 70.
