Scottish Golf Regional Performance Coach – Central
An exciting job vacancy has arisen for a Regional Performance Coach – Central region within Scottish Golf, the governing body for golf in Scotland. Established in October 2015, our focus is on making golf in Scotland a great experience for everyone.
Based in the Central region, a proven PGA professional coach and highly motivated candidate is being sought for this opportunity to join the coaching team.
The successful candidate must have a proven track record of developing golfers to international competition and be able to inspire, motivate and encourage all players at all levels. This self-employed position carries a fixed annual fee, payable during the year on evidenced based completion of an agreed programme of work.
Interviews are scheduled to be held on 23 & 24 October in St Andrews.

Head Greenkeeper – Invergordon Golf Club
Invergordon Golf Club is situated on the east coast of Ross and Cromarty, 25 miles north of Inverness. The Club wishes to appoint a Head Greenkeeper to be in position by 1 January 2018. Invergordon is an 18 hole parkland course. The town has its own Primary and Secondary Schools and is a very busy Cruise Liner destination port with Invegordron Golf Club attracting many visiting golfers.

Club Manager – Lanark Golf Club
Lanark Golf Club, 25th oldest club in the World, is a traditional Members’ Club with a full membership including a small waiting list. The present Club Manager is retiring at the end of February 2018 after 27 years service.
 Applications are invited for this full time position, which includes secretarial and treasurer duties. Ideal candidates will have a sound knowledge of computerised administration, financial and budgetary control and general management.

Catering Operation – Muckhart Golf Club

PGA Professional – Kemnay Golf Club
Kemnay Golf Club near Aberdeen requires a PGA Qualified Professional. In the heart of rural Aberdeenshire, Kemnay has a healthy membership base and is popular with corporate clients, society groups and visitors.
 It is one of the best inland courses in the area with 18 holes, extended to a championship course of over 6500 yards, and a 6-hole par 3 Practice/Teaching Facility.  The Pro Shop is extensive with large retail and work areas and an integral indoor teaching studio.
The person appointed will be proactive in taking personal responsibility for the professional delivery and development of all aspects of the golf operations at the Club. Experience of coaching a wide range of golfing ability is essential.  They should be able to demonstrate highly developed interpersonal skills in a busy customer facing retail environment.
 A requirement will be to work in partnership with the Golf Club in recruiting and retaining members and in developing the Club.  Leadership, IT and marketing skills are essential for this self-employed position.
