CAMERON CARNEGIE WINS SPENCE TROPHY AT ABOYNE

Cameron Carnegie (Kemnay) today (Sunday) won the Aberdeen and District Junior Pennant League's Spence Trophy match-play tournament at Aboyne Golf Club.

 

He beat Jack Pirie (Hazlehead) 3 and 2 in the morning semi-final and Cameron Gray (Cruden Bay) by 2 and 1 in the final.

 

Results:

 

Semi-finals - Cameron Gray (Cruden Bay) bt Finlay Wallace (Portlethen) 4 and 2, Cameron Carnegie (Kemnay) bt Jack Pirie (Hazlehead) 3 and 2.

 

Final - Carnegie bt Gray 2 and 1.

 

3^rd / 4th play-off  - Pirie bt Wallace 3 and 2.
