St Andrews date for DF Communications
Business Golf League finalists

Twelve companies will battle it out in the final of the 2017 DF Communications Business Golf League at St Andrews.
Teams will tee off at the Home of Golf’s Castle Course on Wednesday, September 20, with funds being raised for Scottish Network for Arthritis in Children (SNAC).
Aberdeen-based DF Communications, an award-winning mobile phone and communications specialist to small, medium and large businesses, is the organiser of the north-east league for a sixth year in a row.
Last year’s winners, Santander, have again reached this year’s final stage. They will be joined by GAC,Equalizer, Premier Oil, Unique Systems, Knight Frank, SKN, Craig Group, McIntosh Donald, Nu-Style Products, Coutts Mennie and RAWC.
Craig Forsyth, sales director at DF Communications, said: “Our league is a great way to build relationships and at the same time support a worthwhile cause. We’re now down to 12 teams, having started the league with 36. We’re delighted to be returning to the Castle Course which always provides a challenge for the players.”
Finalists compete in a Stableford format whereby points for each team’s two players will be combined. The team with the highest score will be crowned winners of the DF Communications Business Golf League.
Companies from across the North-east have played at a variety of local courses since April, with the opening games held at Trump International Golf Links.  The Business Golf League was played in a four-ball format with six teams in each division. The winners and runners-up from each group went through to the St Andrews showdown.
