McKenna heads Young Pros' field at Turnberry's King Robert the Bruce course

Fraser McKenna (Caldwell) won the £300 first prize by two shots with a six-birdie round of five-under-par 67 at today's £1,550 Young Pros' Order of Merit Sprint Series Tournament at Trump Turnberry's King Robert the Bruce course.
He headed a field of 46 by birdieing the first, third, seventh, eighth, 14th and 18th in halves of 33 (three under) and 34 (two under). His only bogey came at the ninth.
Runner-up with a 69, which earned him £200, was Thomas Higson (Gleneagles Hotel). He had five birdies and two bogeys in halves of 35 and 34.
Cameron West (Scotscraig) and Graeme McDougall (Elie Links) tied for third place on the par-72 mark and earned £137.50 each.
