Top seeds Geldenhuys and Hawksby win twice to reach last 16 of Eden Trophy

Joint leading qualifiers Henk Geldenhuys (South Africa) and England's Jack Hawksby (Millbrook) both won twice on the opening match-play day in the Eden Trophy tournament at St Andrews to reach the last 16.
Hawksby had to go to the 19th to win his first tie against Dave Allison but had a little bit to spare in the afternoon when he won by 3 and 2 against Mark Ferguson.
Geldenhuys was a 4 and 3 winner against Lee Hardy in the first round but won on the last green in the afternoon against Geoff Nixon.
