Scots and Irish boys draw 7.5-7.5 in Home Internationals

Scotland and Ireland drew 7.5-7.5 on the opening day of the boys' home internationals at St Annes Old Links, Lancashire today.
In the other match, defending champions England thrashed Wales 11-4.
The Scots lost the foursomes 3-2 to the Irish but wins in the singles by Eric McIntosh, Callum Bruce, Greg Dalziel, Jack Broun and Lewis Irvine helped them draw level with the Irish.

C Bruce and L Irvine lost to C Raymond and R Kelly 2 and 1.

Howie lost to Power 1 hole.
McIntosh bt Hearn 5 and 4.
Watt lost to Black 4 and 2.
Bruce bt Brady 3 and 2.
Gibson lost to A Marshall 3 and 1.
G Dalziel bt Murphy 4 and 3
Scott lost to Moran 6 and 5.
Broun bt Doherty 1 hole.
Irvine bt Denvir 4 and 2.
Paterson halved with Raymond.
