Tarland head eight qualifying clubs for

Elie Grand Final

Tarland, represented by Richard Blackmore and Doug Booth, headed the eight qualifying teams for the Grand Final of the Belhaven Captains and Secretaries' tournament at Golf House Club, Elie on September at the end of the area eliminator competition over 18 holes at Elgin Golf Club today.
They had an eight-under-par better ball score of 63.
Runners-up were Turriff's Lorraine Hunter and Lesley Stuart with a combined 66.

66 Turriff (L Hunter and L Stuart)
67 Nigg Bay (D Russell and M Garden)
67 Maverston (S Blacklaw and D Gutcher)
68 Cruden Bay (L Durno and B Milton)
68 Muir of Ord (J Forbes and H Milne)
68 Carrbridge (B Baird and S Henderson)
68 Boat of Garten (J A Grant and G H Hay)

+Eriskay (W Rusk and D Oates) also returned a 68 but were eliminated on a countback.
