English boy leads by three at Faldo Series' event

Balmore's James Wilson, Joseph Bryce (Bathgate) and Royal Aberdeen's Craig Leith  are the leading Scots in a huge field for the Faldo Series' Scottish boys' championship over 54 holes at The Duke's Course, St Andrews.

Second-placed Wilson, pictured, has had scores of 70 and 71 for one-under-par141, one ahead of Bryce who has scored 72 and 70 for 142. Leith is lying fourth on 144 (74-70).

England's Matthew Myers (Northamptonshire) leads by three shots with a pair of 69s for 138.
Players with 36-hole tallies of 155 and better qualified for Wednesday's final 18 holes.
In the girls' event, Jennifer Rankine (Haggs Castle) lead by four shots with rounds of 72 and 76 for 148. England's Fern Clark (73-79) is her nearest challenge.
