Yates wins Robeck Trophy with Carnwath

Gordon Yates of Colville Park won the Lady De Robeck trophy on Sunday at Carnwath with a course record 62 in the second round.
 Gordon , formerly of Hilton Park Golf Club and Dumbartonshire, has enjoyed good form in this year’s Lanarkshire Order of Merit events. 
In fact he won the Baxter Trophy at Strathaven earlier in the season.  Gordon also has a full international cap.   
Dominic Dougan of Airdrie,  Stephen Kane of Hollandbush and Ed Wood of Crow Wood were in a three-way tie for second on 136.
