Pennycott and Henderson tied ninth at Tarragona
Amateur Malcolm Pennycott (Royal Burgess) and professional Neil Henderson (Renaissance) were tied ninth at the end of the first day of the Spanish Evolve Pro Tour's Bonmont Open at Bonmont Golf Club, Tarragona.
A third Scot, Paul McGhee had an 81.
Tim Gornick (Slovenia) led by two shots with a three-under 69.
England's Ben Stow and Peter Tarver Jones were in second and third places.
