DAVID LAW WINS AT BANCHORY WITH AN EXCELLENT SIX-UNDER-PAR 63
On a day that would have surpassed most this summer for weather, the North East Alliance saw its best scoring of the season so far.
Challenge Tour player David Law (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) headed the field with an excellent round of six-under-par 63.
He won by two shots from Kevin Duncan (Cruden Bay).
Greg McBain (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) finished third with a 66, a shot ahead of stablemate Philip McLean and the leading amateur of the day, Michael Lawrie, the Deeside Golf Club junior captain.
