Strathaven pro-am postponed because of wind and water

Today's Strathaven Golf Club pro-am was called off early in the morning after a night of heavy rain had flooded the bunkers and other areas.

"There was also a 50mph gale-force wind blowing when we got here," said tournament director Roy Murray, "so we had little option but to postpone the pro-am to a later date. We have suggested a new date to the Strathaven club officials and we have to wait to see if this is OK with them."
