TOP 20 FINISH IN AUSTRIA BY ROBB
Banchory-based
Chris Robb, last year's Scottish amateur champion, achieved a top 20
finish in this week's German PGA developmental tour event, the
Haugschlag Open in Austria.
Playing
out of Meldrum House Golf Club, Oldmeldrum, Robb, pictured, had rounds of 75, 67
and 69 for a five-under-par total of 211 for a joint 19th placing.
He had six birdies in his third round following a seven-birdie effort in his second round.
The only British or Irish player ahead of him was Rory McNamara (Ireland) in joint 10th position on 207
Benjamin Rusch from Switzerland won with rounds of 70, 64 and 67 for 15-under-par 201.
