Rain has had a significant impact on play in today's first round of the New South Wales international men's and women's amateur championships.
At Killara, the women's stroke-play competitors managed to complete nine
holes while the men failed to commence play at all. At Monash, play was
suspended with the first groups having played six holes only.
The stroke play component of the tournament will now be 36 holes only.
