MARTIN LAIRD FINISHES T15 IN CALIFORNIA
Martin Laird earned $91,200 for a joint 15th place finish in the US PGA's Humana Challenge tournament at La Quinta CC, California.
The Scot had rounds of 68, 66, 68 and 69 for 17-under-par 271.
American Bill Haas won the $1,026,000 top prize by a single shot with rounds of 67, 63, 69 and 67 for 22-uner-par 266.
Joint runners-up were Charley Hoffman, Brendan Steele and Sun Joon Park.
Russell Knox missed the cut after three rounds.

Bill Haas landed his second Humana Challenge title after a narrow one-shot victory in a tight contest at La Quinta - and moved up to No. 13 in the world pro rankings.
The 32-year-old from Greenville, South Carolina, posted a closing
five-under 67 for an aggregate 22-under 266, holding his place at the
summit where he began the day in the company of three others.
Beginning the day in a four-way tie at the top of the leaderboard,
the former world No 41 posted a closing five-under 67 to finish 22-under
in a congested field where five players tied for second.
Among those ending one-shot back were Charley Hoffman and Brendan
Steele, who both stayed in contention with eight-under 64's on the final
day, while Steve Wheatcroft and South Korea’s Sung Joon Park also ended
on 21-under.
Matt Kuchar completed the group of runners-up after a final round 67,
with the 36-year-old missing an 11-feet birdie putt at the last to
potentially take the tournament into a play-off.
