TORRANCE WITH 74s

Carnoustie professional Fraser Mann and Edzell +2 amateur Gary Tough tied for the top scratch prize with two-over-par rounds of 74 over the Torrance course, Fairmont St Andrews in the Midland Golfers' Alliance Grant's Promotions pro-am today.

In the team competition Murrayshall members Alister Duncan (3),  Davie Hutchison (7), Dennis Redford (11), and Jim Meddicks (12) won by two shots with a net aggregate of 135.
