DAVID BRODIE WINS BY OVER 200 pts

David Brodie (Wigtown and Bladnoch) showed he was the best player in the South Area this season by winning the final counting event, the J A L Brown Trophy at Portpatrick, to win the South of Scotland Order of Merit by over 200pts. 
Martin McNae (Lochmaben) had another good season to finish in second place, helped by strong performances towards the end of the season. Michael Grunwell (Powfoot) held on to third place despite missing the last few events due to other commitments.
