J A L BROWN TROPHY: FINAL SOUTH ORDER OF MERIT COUNTER

 BRODIE WINS BY 6 AT PORTPATRICK

David Brodie (Wigtown and Bladnoch) has won the J A L Brown Trophy at Portpatrick, the final counting event in the South of Scotland Order of Merit.

His superb 10 under par total of 130 was good enough for a six-shot victory from three players on 136: Stuart Fisher (Portpatrick), Rory Brunton (Portpatrick) and Rory Thompson (Dalbeattie). David set the pace in the morning with a 65 and matched this in the afternoon to seal an impressive victory.
