ENGLISHMAN'S GREAT LAST ROUND PAVES WAY FOR FRENCH WIN

 TOM WILDE WINS THREE-WAY 

PLAY-OFF FOR ALPS TOUR TRIUMPH

Tom Wilde from England won the Alps Tour event on the French-Luxemburg border, the Citadelle Trophy International at Golf de Preisch.
Wilde beat Matthieu Pavon (France) and Alfonso Gutierrez (Spain) in a three-way play-off after the trio had each totalled 11-under-par 272.
Wilde's rounds were 69, 75, 69 and 64.
Pavon had a 67 in the last round and Gutierrez a 70 which allowed Wilde to make up a lot of ground with his great final score of 64.
He earned 6,525 euros.
Compatriot Andrew Coolley dearned 2,385 euros for fourth place on 278 (10 under par) with scores of 67 72 70 69.
