GREG McBAIN SCORES SECOND WIN

 OF SEASON WITH A THREE-UNDER 67  

Greg McBain (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) chalked up his second win of the Tartan Tour season with a three-under-par round of 67 in the BEN shotgun pro-am over the Fidra Course at Archerfield Links today.
McBain's first win was a Montrose in mid-July. He does have a cluster of top 10 finishes to his credit.
He won today's £850 top prize by two shots from Chris Kelly (£670), meantime unattached, with three players sharing third place on 70 - Scott Henderson (Kings Links), Jason McCreadie (Buchanan Castle) and Graeme Brown (Montrose Links), who each earned £397.
Andrew Marshall (Houston Golf Range) led the amateur trio of Eric O'Donnell, Gordon Thompson and Robert McVie to victory in the pro-am team event with a 12-under-par score of 58.
