MISSES CUT BY ONE SHOT IN PGA EUROPRO TOUR EVENT

HOLES IN IRELAND

Craig Lawrie (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) crashed out of the PGA EuroPro Tour event in Ireland by covering his last four second-round holes in four-over-par - a double bogey, two bogeys and a par - for a 76 and a tally of 149, which was one shot too many to make it through to the final day's play at Mount Wolseley Golf Club.
Seven Scots did beat the cut, headed by Ross Kellett (Kingsfield) with rounds of 71 and 70 for joint 10th place on 141 - nine shots behind the favourite for the £10,000 first prize, James Watts (Kingsway) who has had a pair of 66s for 12-under 132
Elliot and Lloyd Saltman (Archerfield Links) qualified on 143 and 146 respectively, Elliot with 70-73, Lloyd a pair of 73s.
Newmachar's Malcolm Isaacs (72-74) also beat the cut on 146.
Jordan McColl (Scotscraig) (70-78), Paul Shields (Kirkhill) (75-73)and Jordan Findlay (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) (75-73) made it through on the limit mark of 148.
