EUAN MOIR, DAVID FAIR WIN HAMILTON MEN'S
AND JUNIOR CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS
Hamilton
Golf Club staged their club championship finals today in fine weather.
Men’s champion is Euan Moir for the third time. He won the last hole with a par to
force extra holes, then hit his approach at the 19th to within six inches
of the flagstick for victory over Stewart Henderson.
David Fair had a far more comfortable victory over Mark Brough in the
Junior Final, winning 6 and 5 in the 36 hole final.
This win made David the first
boy in the history of the club to win it three years in a row and he can defend
it again next year!
