LUKE DONALD RETAINS JAPANESE TITLE BY SIX-STROKE MARGIN
England’s Luke Donald successfully defended the Dunlop Phoenix tournament in Japan with a six-stroke winning margin.
Donald, who won the title by five a year ago, carded a five under par 66 at Phoenix Country Club for a winning 14 under par total of 270 with South Korean Hyung-Sung Kim second.
Five birdies in the first 11 holes gave Donald a comfortable advantage and he matched the two bogeys he made on the closing stretch with two birdies as he strode to victory
