PAUL O'HARA HALFWAY LEADER IN SHOTTS YOUNG PROS' EVENT

Paul O'Hara is favourite to win the first prize of £700 after the Clydeway Golf man took the halfway lead with a one-under-par 69 in the Shotts Young Pros' 36-hole tournament at Shotts Golf Club.

O'Hara had birdies at the long 10th, 12th and 15th, and bogeys at the 12th and 14th.

He leads by one shot from Keir McNicoll (Gullane) and by two from Ewan McPherson (Auchterarder) and Calum Lawson (Wellsgreen).
