Paul O'Hara (Clydeway Golf) had a 10 at the par-4 seventh hole but still qualified with ease for the Kerr Investments Order of Merit pro-am at Dumfries and Galloway GC on August 31-September 4.
O'Hara covered his remaining holes in four under par with birdies at the 10th 13th, 17th and 18th to return a two-over-par 72 and qualify in a share of 14th place.
