ISAACS AND SHIELDS FINISH IN TOP 10 AT EUROPRO TOUR EVENT

Malcolm Isaacs (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) and Paul Shields (Kirkhill) both produced closing sub-par scores to finish in the top 10 at the PGA EuroPro Tour's PDC and World Snooker Open at Collingtree Park Golf Club, Northants today (Friday)

Aberdeen-based Isaacs had scores of 71, 69 and 69 for an eight-under-par total of 209 which earned him £1,100 for joint sixth place.

Glasgow's Shields shot 72, 70 and 68 for 210 and earned £850 for a share of eighth place.

Winner of the £10,000 first prize was Yorkshireman Alex Belt  from Snainton, Scarborough with scores of 70, 65 and 70 for 11-under-par 205.
