GRAEME BOND WINS ABERDEEN LINKS HANDICAP CHAMPIONSHIP

The Aberdeen Links Championship Handicp Final between Mark Greig (Bon Accord) and Graeme Bond (Northern)
was a very close contest with Bond winning at the 19th
Mark went two up after five holes before Graeme won the sixth and eighth.
Graeme went ahead at the par 3 10th, but lost 11 and
12 for Mark to go back to one up. At the 13th Graeme had a chance to
square the match but missed from 5ft. With a stroke at 14th Graeme
squared the game only for Mark to win the 15th to go back 1up . The 16th
was halved in par 3"s.
At
the 17th Mark drove into left rough with Graeme
middle of the fairway. His 2nd shot landed on the green.Mark played out
of the rough then pitched on to the green.
Graeme putted up and conceded
Marks putt just missed hole match all square.At 18th Graemes tee shot
found green side bunker, Mark tee shot found back off green,Graemes
played good bunker shot,Mark left putt 6ft shot,graeme missed.Mark
missed down 19th both hit good drives,Graemes 2nd 20ft from pin, Marks
15ft,Graeme holed his putt Marks missed.
Murray Cup final was a bit one sided as Northern's Jim Ritchie beat Bon Accords Josh Leslie 6 and5.
