Paul Ferrier, the 2007 Scottish boys' match-play champion from Baberton, is lying T50 at the halfway stage of the Egolf Professional Tour's Columbia Open at Columbia Country Club, Ridgewood Tall Pines, Blythewood in South Carolina.
Ferrier, who turned pro after four years at college in the United States,. has earned $3,822 from seven events on the American satellite tgour, of which $1,010 came from a T34 finish in the tour's last event, the Forest Oaks Classic from April 17 to 19.
Leading the field before the end of the second day's play was American Tanner Erwin with rounds of 67 and 63 for 13-under-par 130.
