Fraserburgh's Kris Nicol had a bag of four birdies in returning a two-under-par 71 for a share of 13th place at the end of the firstround in the Alps Tour's Rebetz Open in France today (Wed).Nicol is three shots behind joint leaders Juliet Foret (France), Jesus Legarra (Spain) and Fabien Marty (France).Ross Cameron (Paul Lawrie Golf Centre) from Ellon matched the par of 73 for a share of 39th place but former Walker Cup player Michael Stewart from Troon had a 78 and, in joint 115th place, looks destined to miss the cut.
