NEIL RAYMOND SOLE GB SURVIVOR IN AUSSIE QUARTERS
Only Neil Raymond of the four England players who reached the second round is through to the quarter-finals of the Australian men's amateur championship at Commonwealth Golf Club, Melbourne.
The Corhampton player, pictured by Tom Ward Photography when he won the Brabazon Trophy, will cross swords with Cameron Smith (Queensland) for a place in the last four.
Smith beat Craig Hinton 2 and 1 in the second round.

Defending champion Lydia Ko (NZ), the world's No 1 female amateur, was beaten by the 19th qualifier Jo Charlton in the second round of the Australian women's amateur championship at the same venue.
