NEWS RELEASE FROM DUNBAR GOLF CLUB
Members
of the New Zealand All Blacks rugby team, in Scotland for their game at
Murrayfield on Sunday, November 11, enjoyed a break from training with a
game of golf at Dunbar Golf Club this week.
The squad arrived in
Edinburgh last Friday after a 28hr from New
Zealand.
They
played their golf match as a three-way tie, 'North Island' versus 'South
Island' versus their 'Scottish Hosts'.
Included in the Scottish team was
Tom Craig, Chairman Scottish Golf Union.
It proved to be a convincing
win for the All Blacks with the 'South Island' winning and the 'North
Island' in second place.
All
Blacks captain Richie McCaw [capped 113 times for New Zealand], in
thanking their Scottish hosts commented on the outstanding quality of
the golf, course and the hospitality they had received from all at Dunbar
Golf Club.
