DUMBARTONSHIRE WIN WEST YOUTH LEAGUE TITLE

Dumbartonshire won the West of Scotland Youth Golf League today with a 7-3 victory over Lanarkshire at Airdrie Golf Club.

This result put Dumbartonshire on top of the West of Scotland Youth league with three wins and two draws from their five fixtures.

Andy Watt (Airdrie) lost to Gavin Roger (Clober) 3 and 2.

Ricky Livingstone (Colville Pk) bt Chris McLean (Clydebank and Dist) 6 and 5.

Chris Kelso (Bellshill) lost to Sam Fitzsimmonas (Windyhill) 3 and 1.

Calum Stillie (Carluke) halved with Daniel Muir (Hayston).

Jack Hickson (Colville Pk) lost to Neil McConnachie (Balmore) 7 and 6.

Cameron Boomer (East Kilbride) lost to Fraser Paul (Windyhill) 3 and 2.

Kieran Stark (Crow Wood) lost to Cameron Bennie (Balmore) 2 and 1.

 

Renfrewshire won the West of Scotland A-Team league for the 11th time in a row after a 5 1/2-4 1/2 victory against Ayrshire at Prestwick Golf Club today.
