Aberdeen's David Law and Duncan Stewart (Grantown on Spey) finished top Scots in the PGA EuroPro Tour event, the Eagle Orchid Scottish Masters, at Rowallan Castle GC, Ayrshire today.
They earned £775 apiece for a joint eighth place finish on two-under 211. Law, playing out of the Paul Lawrie Golf Centre, had rounds of 73,66 and 72, Stewart 66, 72 and 73. Both had double bogeys on the final day.

Law, pictured, might have made the top five but for a bad run from the ninth to 11th which cost him bogey-bogey-double bogey. He did recoup some of the lost shots with birdies at the 12th and 16th.
Stewart's double bogey 6 came at the 12th.
Chris Kelly (Cawder) collected £575 for joint 14th place on 212 (71,69,72).
Banchory's James Byrne (IMG) had a double bogey 7 at the long 17th after a bogey at the 15th but the former Walker Cup player finished inside the top 20 with scores of 67, 75 and 72 for one-over 214 and joint 19th place. He earned £385 - and he has not had many cheques in this his rookie year.
Elliot Saltman (Archerfield Links) earned £285 for joint 32nd place on 217 (73,73,71) while Fraserburgh's Jordan Findlay, who has no club attachment or sponsor, had a disastrous last round of 78 with back-to-back double bogeys at the sixth and seventh.

He had earlier scores of 73 and 71 and finished joint 4th on 222. His payslip was £222. Like Byrne, Findlay has had a lean first year as a pro.
Welshmen finished first and joint second Stuart Manley (Machynys Peninsula), a Walker Cup player in 2003, earned the £10,000 first prize with scores of 72, 66 and 68 for seven-under 206.
Oliver Farr, also born in Wales and playing out of Worcester GC, tied with Irishman Michael McGeady) for second place, a shot behind the winner on 207. Farr scored 71, 67 and 69, McGeady 67, 70 and 70. They earned £3,750 each.
